Good morning po! i would like to ask the chances of being sponsored with a working visa with just AMC1 po? I have batchmates who have passed step 1 (with ER experiences?)
and they said that it’s hard to have a job offer bec there are a lot of IMGs onshore already with a working visa so sila po yung napprioritize for the job? thank you po.
To be honest, the chances are very slim because you have to compete with the locals/citizens first then IMGs who are already permanent residents then lastly thse IMGs who already passed the
clinical exam. It is difficult to get a job but it’s not impossible. I suggest to apply to more regionaly/rural areas rather than the city.

How will the recency of practice be applicable for specialist practicing as a radiologist or pathologist?
is it also a factor if the applicant is offshore? (i.e currently in phils) vs onshore (in australia)
